I know it's still the first week, but I am still so excited about my workouts now! It feels so good to love working out again!
* I am still one of the first ones there every morning (well, I've only done it four mornings so far, but still, that's pretty good for me)! I'm up at 4:05 in the morning! By the way, there has to be over 60 people in class, so I think that's pretty good!
* I have already found my 'spot' to workout. I picked out a spot and the girl next to me was so friendly and helpful, and I really appreciated it, so I'm staying put. And the group around me is fantastic. This morning, we spent time chatting before class and I got to know them a little bit more. And they are great about giving me pointers during the workouts.
* Kickboxing is awesome! The instructor asked if anyone hasn't done kickboxing and I was one of the two people (out of around 60) who raised their hand. I'm not shy - I needed help! I'm finding out a lot of people have already done Farrells and switched over to Goals in Motion.
* My heart rate up jumps up during warm ups already! I checked my Bodybugg yesterday and during my workout I was at times burning 6 calories a minute! Wednesday was the hardest workout yet - lower body resistance training. IT KICKED MY BUTT - LITERALLY.
* I am still struggling with carbs/sugar craving and carbs in my meals at night. It's only day #4 though, and I can only focus on a few things at once, so once I get my early day under control, I'll focus solely on dinner. I am going to try one or two new recipes a week.
* I have spent a TON of money on groceries, but I'll figure it out. I figured that would happen in the beginning.
* I made the mistake of weighing myself this morning and I was up two pounds. It was stupid because I know my body is adjusting to new foods and workouts and I am drinking a lot of water. Still, it's almost heart stopping to see the scale go up. I hate, and I mean hate that.
* I'm addicted to this already. It could be the adrenaline rush of something new, but it's all I think about and talk about. And it's a great feeling to have my workout over with by 6am every morning!
