As I said in my last post, we are trying to once again teach Brady how to sleep through the night. As Chris was leaving this morning, he asked how Brady did since he didn't hear anything. I told him he must have slept through the night. Over the next few minutes, I started to wake up a little more and as I got out of bed, I realized our monitor was turned off. And it all came flooding back to me. Drake had me up a few times last night and when Brady started to cry, I was so tired that I shut off our monitor, looked at the clock to time how long I would let him cry, and the next thing I know it's morning. He must have cried himself back to sleep. I felt horrible about it...but it worked?!?!??! Am I a bad mom for shutting off the monitor (and accidently falling back asleep) or a normal mom who just wants their kid to learn to soothe themselves? :)|
And, I think Brady has actually discovered that his hands and fingers are actually his. I have caught him a lot today just looking at his hands and wiggling his fingers. It's really cute!!
