Yesterday you turned two months old. Happy Two Months Birthday!!! I want you to know that you have given me the best two months of my life!!! It seems like just yesterday you came into this world (stubbornly I must say too). I want you to know that you are perfect. Your features are so delicate. Your little nose, ears and chin are perfect. You have the biggest and brightest blue eyes. When you smile, it makes my heart melt. When you coo and actually sound like you are responding to me and trying to have a conversation, you make us laugh so much!!! We think you are such a handsome, bright and alert little boy. You have given us so much happiness in your short little life. I knew that being a parent would be fun, but I had no idea just how much fun. I miss you when I am away from you - even if it's just an hour. I once woke you up from your nap because you were snoozing for over two hours and I missed holding you!!! Cuddling with you brings a whole new meaning to the word peaceful.
I love being your mommy and your dad loves being your daddy. You are so much fun to be around and take care of. Sometimes at 3am I can look down on you and no matter how tired I am, my heart just fills with love just by looking at you. You are like a little angel when you sleep. When I look at you, I see such a promising future. You will always be loved and have our support. You also have an extended family of grandpas, grandmas, aunts and uncles who would also do anything for you. You are so loved, in fact, we all loved you before you were even created!!! We wanted you as part of our family and feel so blessed to have you here now.
We look forward to watching you grow up and experience life. It will be fun to see things through your eyes as you learn about the big world around you. We look forward to doing many things with you, such as family vacations, taking you swimming, teaching you how to golf, teaching you how to fish and watching you play with your cousins. But right now, we look forward to just cuddling with you and hearing your little squeaks and coos and watching you smile back at us.
We love you so much!!!

Awe Heidi, I love it!!! You are such a good mommy and I knew you would be! This post made me cry. It pretty much sums up how awesome parenthood is!!
