Harvest

We arrived!  Anxiously awaiting their first ride!

Brady & Thomas chose the combine ride first.

And they're off!

And back!  I wonder what they talked about - they were in there for a long time!

Papa's back from hauling corn - Brady is off to see Papa for the first time that day!  

There is something about this picture of them hugging.   It gets to me.  It kind of reminds me of this next picture below...

 Not letting go.  

Now it's time for a tractor ride with my cousin Chris!

And there's no better place to fly a kite than an open field!

Iowa is beautiful.  Farming is cool.  We are seriously so blessed to live in Iowa!

Where my Grandpa Schelle grew up.

Grandpa's name in the top section of the barn.  Totally cool!  Out of eight kids, he was the only one who left his name.  I think they said he would have been about 14 years old.  It was great to be there and envision his life back then!
