Sports

I refuse to push sports on Brady.  He is not fond of being forced to be active.  He really just likes to play with his toys.  I decided that the Waukee Parks & Rec soccer clinic would be a good fit to give him some exposure to soccer without a big commitment.  It was three Monday nights for an hour and they went over the basics.  The first night he asked the coach if he could sit down and then a half hour later asked when it was over.  :)  However the other two sessions he did OK.  He was just fine when it was over though!

Day 1

Day 2

Day 3 (attempted to socialize Leo by bringing him along!)

He's in the red t-shirt and blue shorts

I also signed him up for Mini Sluggers through Waukee Parks & Rec.  He seems to enjoy baseball a lot more than soccer.  I would say swimming is still hands down his favorite, but we made progress with baseball.  I love baseball so it would be awesome if that was a sport he chooses someday.  He played his best bud Colin this week and it was adorable to see them out there chatting it up and telling Colin "good job" when he hit the ball.  I love those two.  Now if only I could figure out a way to get that picture off of Instagram to post of those two!
