This kid literally fills my heart to the brim with love. I LOVE being his mom. He has such a sensitive and shy side to him one minute, and then the next he is an ornery kid and sometimes all I can do is laugh at what comes out of his mouth!! I wonder, is he 6 or 16?? He loves to be goofy. He still loves to play with his Ninja Turtles and Superhero toys. He could sit in his playroom or at the table and play for hours! Ever since school has started, he has also taken an interest in drawing and coloring. He loves to just play - with us, with friends and even with Leo. He likes Alvin & the Chipmunks, Tom & Jerry, The Thundermans, Henry Danger and The Loud House, pizza, ice cream, Mac & Cheese and jumping on the trampoline. We let him watch Home Alone last weekend and he thought that was pretty funny too! He created pranks for his Superheros the rest of the day.

I just feel so lucky that he's mine. When we lay there at night and he is falling asleep, I just can't stop staring at him. He just looks so peaceful... and perfect... Other times for no reason at all, I can't stop hugging him and kissing the top of his head. I didn't realize how badly I wanted (or needed) a little buddy until he came into our lives six years ago. Talk about a blessing. He has made me feel the kind of love that just makes your heart explode. Raising him has made me see the world as a fun and happy place to be alive in. His big, amazing smile just radiates joy. What a wonderful gift I have been given with him and to be able to have spent the last six years watching him grow up every day, driving him to and from school, helping in his classroom and just hanging out. These will seriously go down as the best six years of my life!!
