Brady is a gem. I cannot BELIEVE how much I love this kid and how awesome I think he is. He is so much fun to be a parent to! I love our time together. It is time to give some updates on him though. I love looking back on the blog and often forget his quirky things that I blogged about.
* He loves school! He has no problem going, has learned a ton already, is seeing a speech therapist twice a week where he gets a Dum Dum to practice sounds (which he thinks is awesome) and he is a social butterfly there. We walk out of school and he is always saying good-bye to everyone! It's great!
* He tends to be obsessive on things. For instance, he will do or say something and then ask "Do you still love me with all your heart?" I'll say of course and then he shouts a big "Yes!!!" He will also do things like toot - twice - and say "Excuse me, Excuse me". He will then make me say (twice) you're excused, you're excused. Then he will say "OK, OK". Weird little obsessive man. :)
* He is a homebody. He loves being home just playing. Once we're home it's practically a meltdown if we have to leave again to go anywhere.
* Since school has started, he has really been interested in drawing and coloring, and yesterday he even wanted to write sentences! So much progress in a month!
* We have started to have him fall asleep on his own. It's been interesting. In the beginning, he snuck out of his room a lot - once he was watching the movie we were watching and reenacted the guy getting shot in the head when I busted him. Nice.... He's also snuck into the kennel quite a few times. Sneaky boy. And now with Chris gone all week, Leo and Brady have been sleeping with me so I have a feeling we'll have to start all over again with that!
* He randomly told me he wanted to try flag football - and likes it!
* He is getting a lot better on his bike! He can actually take off on his own now!! I guess it's time for me to buy a bike!
