We had VBS last week (Monday - Thursday evenings). It was FANTASTIC. Brady did great in his own group, I had enough helpers for my group that it wasn't chaotic, the kids had a blast, Brady learned a lot and it was just fun. I love VBS so much and it's one thing I look forward to every summer! Brady even made the video for Sunday service three times!! His group and my group had the same schedule, so I always go to see what he was doing too which was nice for me (including when he went missing after theater - he must have got mixed up with a different group). We also had new carpet put in throughout the whole house (not including the basement). After almost 11 years, it was time and I am loving it. I'm no longer embarrassed to have people over. I did have an emotional moment thinking of Drake and how I couldn't wait to get new carpet once we didn't have a pet....
