My 3 Year Old

My boo turned 3 on December 10th.  I finally got his pictures so it's time to update his stats!!

Height: 38.9 (81st percentile)
Weight: 36 lb 8 oz (88th percentile)

Things I want to remember about him at this age:
* He is potty trained (potty only).  He only wears diapers at night and when he has to go #2, but I say he is officially potty trained.  I don't count the accidents he has when he is just TOO BUSY to stop playing to go.  :)  And he has recently been standing up when he goes instead of using his little potty chair.  It's just too cute.  He also does the 'potty dance' although if you ask him if he needs to go, he says no!
* One night when we were coloring, he actually tried to stay within the lines.  It was a first and although he is not a big fan of coloring, it was nice to see he cared!
* He asks questions like "what's that mean?".  He answers questions with phrases like "I should" and " Yes I do".  It seems so...  formal...  And I hear 'watch me' or 'chase me' a million times a day.
* He tends to get up in the middle of the night.  It's a little frustrating, but what can you do.  Last week I asked him why he was up and he told me he wanted to "check on me".  :)
* He is signed up for preschool (as mentioned in previous posts).
* He loves cartoons and movies and knows almost all the words to the song 'Let It Go' from Frozen.  Unfortunately, I cannot get the video to upload.  His favorite cartoons are Sheriff Callie and the Wild West, Jake and the Neverland Pirates (he calls them 'Never Pirates') and Charlie & Lola.
* He randomly became afraid of the dark and needs to fall asleep with his nightlight and lamp on.
* He loved going outside and playing in the snow.  Towards the end of winter, I must have been talking too much about needing it to be summer and not liking the snow because he told the whole group during library time that we don't like the snow.
* He likes to show us how much he is growing up.  He'll ask if we want to see how much he's grown, and when we say yes, he stands up and pats his legs and has the proudest smile on his face.  :)
* We are done with naps unless driving during that time.  That usually puts him out.
* He recently learned how to sit on the floor and cross his legs Indian style.  He was so proud of himself.
* Last week, he actually roared in his sleep-loudly.  I had fallen back asleep with him so I looked to see if he was awake and he wasn't!  He said 'dragon', quietly roared again and kept sleeping.  It was hilarious!!

Here are some of his three year old pictures!!
