First Day

Today was my first day as a stay at home mom.  There is only one word to describe how my day went - AWESOME.  I feel so calm and happy now that I am no longer part of the rat race.  No making sure that Brady had his bath Sunday night since we could do it Monday morning.  No more making sure the bottles and pacifiers are all washed, labeled and filled with water.  No more packing his daycare bag, my lunch, ironing and planning for the week ahead.  It feels AWESOME!!  People at work asked me how I would be spending my days.  I told them that I planned on going to the gym (they have a daycare there), reading books and playing with Brady, letting Brady nap on me and cooking a healthy supper.  And that is exactly how we spent our day today.  :)  Here are some pics from our first day at home. 

On a side note, Drake has been sleeping in Brady's room at night.  It's so cute.  I wonder if he's being protective or if it's just because it's the cooler room upstairs.  Who knows, whatever the reason, I like it!

Brady is also holding his bottle now (for most of the feeding).  He gets a little tired towards the end and usually ends up dropping the bottle a few times.

And here are some cousin pictures from Easter weekend I've been meaning to get posted.  These are Chris's sister's two little kids.  These pictures are just adorable!!  I can't wait for these kids to all grow up together!!
